LIGHTS AT FERNWOOD

November 29, 2024 - January 4, 2025 LIGHTS at Fernwood will be back in the garden for the 2024 holiday season, illuminating evenings with a professionally designed light show. This enchanting experience will include light tunnels, cozy fire pits, a winter craft station, nature-inspired light sculptures, a full-sized LiteBrite, festive music, and more!

Visitors will make bright memories during the most magical garden lights Southwest Michigan offers this holiday season while enjoying hot chocolate, other seasonal drinks, snacks, and festive light-up merchandise for all ages!

Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged, as each available time slot is limited. Parking is included in the ticket price.

Fernwood Members receive their 20% discount. Ticket sales for Fernwood Members began on October 1.

TICKET TIMES FOR ENTRY: 6 pm, 7 pm, 8 pm

Tickets are timed in 60-minute increments to stagger visitor parking for the best experience.

Last entry is 8:15 pm. LIGHTS turn off at 9:15 pm.

HOLIDAYS: LIGHTS will be closed on Mondays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

GARDEN DAY TIME HOURS: Starting November 19, daytime garden hours are 12 - 5 pm. The garden’s last daytime admission entry is at 4:30 pm and will close at 5 pm. Fernwood will re-open for LIGHTS guests at 6 pm.

CONCESSIONS

Hot chocolate, cider, specially designed cookies by Calla Lily Cookie, chocolate-covered pretzels, and other snacks.

Savory hand pies made from scratch by The Grateful Pie Company at Fernwood. Meat and vegetarian options available.

Adult beverages will be available every Friday and Saturday, including the LIGHTS beer crafted by River Saint Joe Brewery. This special brew is exclusively available at LIGHTS and the River Saint Joe taproom.

Souvenirs available including woodland stuffed animals, glowing merchandise, and LIGHTS branded beanies or headbands.

This year, Fernwood welcomes two new visitors to our LIGHTS celebration! Traveling in on a frosty gust of wind from the north, don't miss your chance to meet Father Winter as he brings with him all the magic, beauty, and peace of the snow-covered natural world! You'll also want to keep an eye out for a mischievous gnome that's taken up residence in the warmth of our conservatory this season. Bring your camera, as these characters are sure to charm and excite LIGHTS-goers of all ages!

TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT

Purchase tickets ahead of time online!
Follow your designated arrival window to avoid waiting or missing your entry time. Entry will not be permitted after 8:15 pm.
Have your ticket ready to show to the team at the ticket hut to expedite entry.
This outdoor event will be held rain, snow, or shine. Please dress for the weather.
