SPRING BREAK SERVICE LEARNING

Join Fernwood staff for a two-day opportunity to give back and grow. The Spring Break Student Service Learning at Fernwood will allow high school students to gain 12 hours of community service and experience at our botanical garden. 

This two-day experience will include working in the garden, touring the 105-acre grounds, gaining knowledge on the history of Fernwood, assisting in the Education Center, internship details, and more. 

This opportunity is hands-on, diverse, inclusive, and FUN. Although nature and gardening are at the center of this program, students interested in education, trade schools, marketing, and customer service will find it beneficial. 

Lunch provided. Good for ages 16+. We will accept high school graduates interested in horticulture, education, or a Fernwood internship. Must have reliable transportation. 

Session 1: Tuesday, April 2-Wednesday, April 3, 10 am - 4 pm

Session 2: Thursday, April 4-Friday, April 5, 10 am - 4 pm
