Class Details:
Help your garden thrive this season with natural plant juice fertilizer! In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to create fermented comfrey fertilizer to use as a foliar spray or soil dredge to feed your plants. All materials will be provided to put together and ferment your own take-home batch. You’ll also get an in-depth understanding of how the fermentation process works and why this type of natural fertilizer is such a beneficial way to organically care for your garden and plants.
About the Instructor:
Nathan Kesler is the owner of Well Watered Farm LLC in Buchanan, MI, and teaches 7th grade Environmental Science and high school AG certification at Career Academy in South Bend. He has operated Well Watered Farm for three seasons and focuses on using sustainable and regenerative techniques to grow produce, herbs, flowers and seeds. In addition, all inputs to the farm are naturally produced, and insects and microbes are given special attention and care.
