Foundations of Gardening Course

Hosted at Fernwood Botanical Garden

In this 10-week program, you’ll be instructed on plant science, soil science, propagation, integrated pest management, and other sustainable horticulture topics. After passing the course, you’ll be ready to complete your garden volunteer hours, final seminar, and earn the title of Master Gardener.

Class participants will meet weekly at Fernwood’s Sims Education Center to view and discuss a live webinar taught by 1-2 experts in the field. Two sessions, Plant Science and Plant Propagation, will be taught in-person by FOG instructor and course host, Christopher Imler.

Thursdays, 6-8:30 pm weekly, February 1 to April 11
