Join Pat Fisher, President of the Harbor Country Hikers, for an exploration of the enchanting patterns and sculptural forms of ice along Lake Michigan’s shoreline. Pat will share photos and stories of his icy encounters, collected during the hundreds of miles of lakeshore hikes he has taken each winter. You’ll learn all about these frozen formations, how they are created, and where and when to find them.

$12/person (20% off for Fernwood members)

This program will take place in the Fauna Wing of the Sims Education Center. Registration, at or before the start time of the program, is required for all attendees.
