Autumn is just around the corner and lots of new colors are popping up all over the garden. Ripe berries, bright blossoms, and freshly fallen nuts not only offer brilliant shades in the landscape, but also in the dye pot. Join Fernwood’s new Director of Education, Michelle McCoskey, to learn how to harvest and preserve these natural materials for future use in creating natural textile dyes. Michelle specializes in growing and foraging for natural dye plants and can answer any questions you might have about the process while collecting materials together. Free with Fernwood admission.
