As we continue our Arbor Day celebration, join certified arborist, Christian Siewert, for an interpretive walking tour, where you’ll learn all about Fernwood’s incredible array of tree species, plus how to care for trees in your own backyard. Christian will cover soil, sun, and water needs, pruning guidelines, debris management, and how to work with trees to support a healthy local ecosystem.

About your guide:

Christian Siewert, has been working in the tree service industry since 1987, and has been the owner of C&A Arborists since 1997. Christian studied arboriculture at Merristwood College in Guildford, England, and received his certified arborist status from The International Society of Arboriculture after starting C&A Arborists in 1997.
