About the Instructor:
John Demaegd began his art career with drawing, which led to watercolor painting. His love of nature and the surrounding beaches of Southwest Michigan quickly became the subject of numerous works of art. He has held several positions with the St. Joe Valley Watercolor Society, taught painting classes for Southwest MI College’s continuing education program, participated annually as an artist in the garden for the Women's Art League Garden Walk, and has exhibited numerous times at the Leeper Park Art Fair, having won an overall honorable mention award.
