Pumpkin pie is a must-have for many on Thanksgiving day. But did you know that recipes for the sweet treat once included apples, raisins, and fresh herbs? Variations have been baked since the mid-1600s, many including surprising ingredients and preparation methods. In this program, we’ll look at how pumpkin pies have evolved over the centuries. You’ll enjoy samples of various versions and leave with recipes to try at home.
